    Resume

Jia-Rong Chen earned his Ph.D. from the Central China Normal University (CCNU) under the supervision of Professor Wen-Jing Xiao (2009). After holding a position at CCNU (2009-2010), he worked as a Humboldt postdoctoral fellow with Professor Carsten Bolm at the RWTH Aachen University (2011-2012). In 2012, he returned to CCNU and began hisindependent career as an associate professor. He has published over 50 papers, articles, reviews and monographs. He also serves as a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of “ Targets in Heterocyclic System” annually published by theItalian Society of Chemistry (2015-present); member of the Editorial Board of Current Catalysis (Bentham Science Publishers, 2016-).
